LANSING, Mich (WLNS) — The Metropolis of Lansing is holding a collection of public conferences beginning Tuesday to debate ModPods, tiny houses the town bought earlier this 12 months, with the plan of serving to homeless individuals transition to full-time housing.

Anthony Vincent, who lives within the woods behind Piazzano’s, says the town wants extra out there housing.

“Me and my finance, we’ve been waiting like three years, been on the housing list like three years under her name. It’s just a hurry up and wait game, that’s all it is. I got everything done that I need to do, I just gotta wait for openings to open up,” stated Vincent.
Vincent needs others would take a look at him for who he’s — a human being.
“Even though we’re homeless we’re still human, we do have feeling, and, you know, it does hurt, walking down the street and people looking down on you and snickering,” stated Vincent.
