LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A whole bunch of individuals gathered exterior Michigan’s State Capitol right this moment to protest the Trump administration.

Protests have been held throughout the nation in response to 1000’s of federal authorities work layoffs. Protesters say they’re fed up with Musk, the present oligarchy and Trump’s therapy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“I did have a personal friend who recently just lost their job. They are a federal government worker, and they had to do the ‘Let’s put out our five things and let’s see what you actually do, and they lost their job,” mentioned Sarah Morr, protester.

Morr is certainly one of numerous protesters showcasing their resistance to the present administration. She says President Trump and Musk are harming the nation.

Laura Freedman and Janice Dannunzio say Musk was not elected into workplace and has no enterprise there.

“They’re not even thinking things through. They’re hurting us with every step they do. I’m just not with this program at all,” added Dannunzio.

Dee Jones, a protester from Grand Rapids, was disenchanted after studying that Trump paused navy help to Ukraine.

“I feel like Donald Trump is disregarding the people of Ukraine and not caring if someone attacks that country, and they’ll need those funds to defend themselves,” mentioned Jones.
