Quincy Jones, music titan who labored with Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra, has died

Quincy Jones, the music producer and composer, has died on the age of 91.

Jones labored with Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and numerous different artists.

Amongst his best-known credit was because the producer of Jackson’s historic Thriller album.

He oversaw the all-star recording of 1985 charity report We Are The World.

Jones additionally composed the soundtrack to the hit 1969 British movie The Italian Job, starring Michael Caine.

His publicist, Arnold Robinson, confirmed he had died at his dwelling on Sunday surrounded by his household.

“And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him,” they added.

His profession, which spans greater than 70 years, noticed him obtain 28 Grammy award wins out of 80 nominations.

He was named some of the influential jazz musicians of the twentieth century by Time journal.

Lionel Richie, who co-wrote We Are The World and was among the many featured singers, known as Jones “the master orchestrator”.

The daddy of seven, was married thrice to Jeri Caldwell, Ulla Andersson and Peggy Lipton.
