Rwandan-backed M23 rebels full takeover of key Democratic Republic of Congo metropolis

Rwandan-backed M23 rebels have accomplished their three-day seize of Goma – the regional capital of jap DRC – after fierce battles with Congolese forces.

The insurgent group now has full management of the town’s airport and the border with Rwanda, because the fixed gunfire and shelling round our lodge has gone silent to mark their victory.
