Kevin Spacey is ready to face civil trials on the Excessive Courtroom later subsequent 12 months, over separate lawsuits filed by three males who’ve accused him of sexual assault.
A person referred to as Ruari Cannon, who has waived his proper to anonymity, and two different claimants who haven’t, alleged they have been abused by the Hollywood actor at instances between 2000 and 2015.
They’re taking authorized motion on the Excessive Courtroom towards Spacey, whereas Mr Cannon can be bringing motion towards London’s Outdated Vic theatre. The actor was creative director there between 2004 and 2015.
Spacey, 66, has denied allegations of wrongdoing. He has formally denied two of the claims and is but to file a defence to the courtroom within the third, which was submitted in September.

At a preliminary listening to for the civil instances on the Excessive Courtroom on Wednesday, Mrs Justice Lambert set a provisional three-week window for all three to be heard there in October 2026.
She mentioned it’s nonetheless to be decided whether or not the claims are heard in a single trial, or in three consecutive trials.
Attorneys had made arguments for and towards listening to the instances collectively.
Elizabeth-Anne Gumbel KC, representing Mr Cannon and the opposite two claimants, often called LNP and GHI, mentioned in written submissions that listening to the instances collectively would forestall Spacey and witnesses from having to provide proof greater than as soon as.
William McCormick KC, representing Spacey, mentioned the case introduced by the person often called LNP must be heard within the county courtroom, separate from that of Mr Cannon and the third man.

In written submissions, he mentioned: “On a rational analysis, the only common feature is Kevin Spacey.
“The truth that he met, or within the case of Cannon, is claimed to have met, every claimant within the context of his work on the Outdated Vic takes issues no additional.
“The circumstances of the alleged assaults are markedly different and occur many years apart.”
