Winter Climate Advisories have been issued throughout Mid-Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Winter Climate Advisories have been issued throughout Mid-Michigan from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday.

Rain, freezing rain, and snow are all anticipated at the moment, with the perfect likelihood for snow being in our northern counties and the perfect likelihood for rain farther south.

Roads will grow to be slippery late within the morning at the moment, persevering with into the afternoon. This may trigger harmful highway circumstances to develop, particularly when mixed with the vacation journey surge.

Now totals will typically be under 1″ in most spots, with up to 0.10″ of ice accumulation potential.

Temperatures will drop to under freezing tonight, probably resulting in extra icy spots forming on roadways by tomorrow morning. After that, temperatures will start to heat up, probably reaching the 50s by this weekend.
