LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Veterans Affairs Company (MVAA) has partnered with the Division of Pure Sources (DNR) so as to add a disaster line to veterans’ looking and fishing licenses.
The 988 Suicide & Disaster Lifeline shall be supplied in each English and Spanish on all Michigan looking and fishing licenses bought to resident active-duty and 100% disabled navy veterans.
The 998 Suicide & Disaster Lifeline, previously generally known as the Nationwide Suicide Prevention Lifeline, is a nationwide community of disaster facilities staffed with professionals to help folks experiencing psychological well being misery or a suicidal disaster. The Lifeline permits folks to name or textual content 988 any time of day for both themselves or a liked one.
