Protestors react to library’s guide coverage 

HOWELL, Mich. (WLNS) — A bunch of protestors rallied exterior of a church in Livingston County to deliver consciousness to what they’re calling a “removal” of LGBTQ themed books. 

Members of Stand Towards Extremism, often known as SAGE, stood exterior on Sunday afternoon, holding indicators and waving flags on the road close to the Floodgate Church in Howell throughout its weekly service. 

Their cause? Protestors declare the pastor of Floodgate, who can also be the President of the Cromaine Library in Hartland, Invoice Bolin, is trying to take away virtually 200 books they are saying have LGBTQ characters or themes. 

“This may be something from a kids’s guide to a parenting guide to assist mother and father perceive methods to assist their LGBTQ kids,” stated Daniel Wheeler Pfua.

Bolin says this new refined coverage is about defending kids and parental rights.
