LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A person has been arrested after police say he crashed a truck into a motorbike whereas driving underneath the affect—sending the motorcyclist to a Jackson hospital with extreme accidents.
The Napoleon Township Police Division says it and the Napoleon Township Hearth Division had been dispatched to the 10000 block of Austin Rd. for a private harm crash on Thursday at round 3:22 p.m.
They’d obtained stories {that a} bike had been struck by a field truck that drove away from the scene and was being adopted by a witness to the crash. After speaking to witnesses, police decided that the bike was touring east on Austin Rd. at round 40 mph when a field truck driving the mistaken method crashed into it head-on.
The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Alexander Ferrell of Lenawee County, was ejected, struggling extreme accidents to the limbs and head. He was taken to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.
In keeping with police, officers then pulled the driving force of the field truck over and arrested him. He was recognized as a 51-year-old man from the Chicago space and brought to the Jackson County Jail. Police haven’t launched his title to the general public.
