LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Jackson County man assaulted his father with a handgun in Summit Township and now faces fees for his actions, in line with the sheriff’s division.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Workplace experiences that deputies and Michigan State Police troopers responded to an assault at Taylor St. in Summit Twp. at roughly 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 21.
The workplace says dispatch suggested first responders that the handgun was pointed on the father inside the house. When deputies arrived, the son ran out of the house, in line with the sheriff.
Investigators say the son had his father in a rear choke maintain and bit him in his ear, then fought together with his father over the handgun. The son then in the end pushed the handgun into the again of the daddy’s head, leaving a round imprint, and pulled the set off. Nevertheless, it wasn’t reported whether or not the gun fired or not.
Officers later arrested the son for assault with intent to homicide a prohibited particular person in possession of a firearm, felony firearm, home assault, and possession of a firearm whereas intoxicated.
The workplace has not launched the identification of the daddy or son.
