LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Greater than 1.5 million Michigan staff may quickly lose assured sick depart below proposed laws making its method via the Senate. Wednesday, staff and advocates rallied on the State Capitol to talk out in opposition to HB-4002 and SB-15.

Dozens of staff, dad and mom, and advocates gathered on the Capitol, calling on lawmakers to reject these proposed adjustments.

The present regulation set to take impact on Feb. 21 would broaden paid sick time however some enterprise homeowners say these necessities include excessive prices. Underneath these proposed adjustments, many small companies could be exempt from the paid sick depart requirement.
